GIVE TO A FUND

SUPPORT YOUR
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The Community Foundation is committed to transforming collective generosity into the greater good for our region. From strengthening local nonprofits and helping students reach their educational goals to empowering women leaders and investing in new opportunities for area children, we partner, plan, and collaborate to ensure that regional philanthropy has a real impact. Since 1998, we’ve raised and deployed funds and resources to improve the quality of life of our neighbors and enhance the vibrancy of our communities.

This past year was one of the most impactful years in our 24-year history. In all, the Community Foundation received 385 gifts from donors and distributed $1.1 million in grants to improve health and education, aid community and human services, amplify creativity and culture, and support economic development in Grand Forks and Polk Counties. I’ve included just a small sample of the organizations and initiatives that were touched by your generosity last year.

Since our founding in 1998, the Community Foundation has distributed more than $11 million in grants, impacting thousands of individuals and families. A special thanks to our board members, fund holders, partners, and donors for their leadership, trust, and commitment to growing our community of philanthropy.

A gift to the Community Foundation’s Annual Fund is an easy and powerful way to help many organizations doing good locally. Your donation will allow us to continue to mobilize resources to improve the lives of area residents and support impact-driven charitable services.

Are you looking to make an even greater impact? Consider establishing your own endowment fund at the Community Foundation. Endowment funds give back for generations to come, leaving a lasting legacy for the causes that matter most to you and your family. Plus, all of our endowments qualify for the 40% North Dakota State Tax Credit. Please contact me to learn more and set up your customized plan.

Again, thank you for your continued partnership as we offer trusted and impactful philanthropic opportunities across our region.

With deepest gratitude,

Becca Baumbach
