Summary of Need: The Sherlock house is one of the oldest houses in East Grand Forks. It was built after the flood of 1897. The Sherlock house was gutted and moved to the Heritage Village grounds after the flood of 1997. The interior trim work that was removed due to flood damage has never been replaced. Materials would cost an estimated $2,000 and labor an additional $2,500. Materials: door casings, wall baseboard, and a bi-fold door for basement stairwell safety. Labor: installation of door casings, wall baseboard, and a bi-fold door.
